Ruter is planning for a new tender, Oslo Øst, starting from 10.12.2023 until 10.12.2033.
The Oslo Øst tender includes line 23. This line is approximately 21 km long, operates with a 10 min frequency in peak hours, consumes approximately 14 buses, and runs between Lysaker in vest to Simensbråten in east. At Lysaker this service needs to pass under the motorway E18 with a free clearance of just 3,2 meters.
The following points sums up the most central requirements for the actual buses on line 23:
• M3 Class I
• Articulated,
• 4 door configuration
• Emission free, battery electric preferably
• Compliant with ECE R-107 and Bus Nordic standards
• Driver protection compliant with crash test standard ECE R-29
• Max height of 3,2 meters
